RTPVL Tournament check list

In advance

• Arrange for playing site(s), obtain written permission for use of same.
• Notify captains of tournament schedule

Immediately before tournament

• Obtain final standings and make up tournament bracket
• obtain official Excel bracket from President
• Obtain league coolers
• Purchase gatorade mix and ice

At Captain's meeting

• Make sure that cars are parked appropriately (at EPA that means up on the hill, not in parking lot).
• Pass out flyers (if necessary)
• Discuss officiating and rules
• teams must have 5 players on the court
• teams must have 2 women on the court

At the end of the tournament

• Collect league volleyballs
• Obtain shirt sizes and colors from tournament and regular season champion teams.
• Return a copy of the completed tournament bracket
• Return volleyballs
• Return coolers (or hand off to next tournament director)
