Directions to RTPVL courts

The RTPVL plays on several facilities in RTP.

To get to RTP from Chapel Hill, take I-40 East to exit 279-A (Durham Freeway South). From Durham, take the Durham Freeway South. From Raleigh, take I-40 West to exti 279-A (Durham Freeway South). In all three cases, at the end of the freeway, turn right onto Alexander. The first light will be Highway 54 (see map below).

RTF Grass Courts

From Highway 54, take T.W. Alexander north to Cornwallis Rd (first stoplight). Turn left on Cornwallis and take the first road on the left (past the Troxler Driveway.) This is South Tricenter Blvd. Take the first left off of South Tricenter into the parking lot for the softball fields and volleyball courts. Park at the opposite end of the lot from the entrance and take the path across the creek to get to five of the courts or walk around the second softball field to get to the other three courts.

From the Durham Freeway, take the Cornwallis exit west past T. W. Alexander, then follow the directions above.

The courts won't have designated numbers, so for RTPVL use, the courts across the creek will be numbers 1-5 starting at the walkway. The courts behind the softball field will be numbers 6-8 starting at the softball field.

RTF Sand Courts

From the Durham Freeway, take the Cornwallis exit. Turn left at the top of the ramp, and take the second right into Institute Drive East (the RTI Campus). The the first left into the parking lot. The courts are between the two softball fields.

PRC

At the end of the Durham Freeway South, take a right onto Alexander Drive. Take your first left into PRC. Go straight into the entrance and go behind the building to the courts.

CitySearch (formerly ManTech)

We use two courts at CitySearch. CitySearch is on Triangle Drive, directly across Highway 54 from the EPA fortress. The entrance is the third driveway on the left and is marked only by the address "5". The courts are behind the building. Please park in marked spaces.

Nortel Courts

From I-40 East take the Miami exit. Take a left at the top of the exit ramp and proceed back over I-40. Take the next right onto Hwy 54 (BP on the corner). Take the first right onto Nortel's campus. Proceed straight through the first intersection like going to the Delivery area, and then turn to the right of the hedge. Park in the big parking lot. The courts are through the hedge and across the street.

From I-40 West take the Miami exit. At the top of the ramp take a right. The remaining instructions are the same.
